Context & Challenges
Why international mobility cannot be improvised
International mobility exposes both the company and its employees to several risks:
- Lack or insufficiency of health coverage abroad
- High medical costs in certain countries
- Lack of assistance in case of emergency or repatriation
- Loss of social benefits (disability & life insurance, pension)
- Non-compliance with employer obligations (Duty of Care)
The diversity of situations (expatriates, secondees, short-term assignments, remote work abroad…) requires a tailor-made approach, far beyond standard contracts.
